You can just delete it from MSCONFIG.

Yes. Use the media creation tool.

Yes, use the built in option to remove, safer than deleting with MSCONFIG.

It will be simpler to let Macrium create the USB. It will use the correct settings for your device.

Hi, @blueskyler

You may have gotten a little ahead of yourself. No need to create an ISO file for Rescue, then try somehow to make a thumb drive (USB) after. I'm assuming thumb drive since you mentioned Rufus.

You need to have a blank minimum 4GB empty thumb drive, formatted Fat32. If you not sure it's empty (probably not now since you tried Rufus), plug it in, go to My PC, right click the drive and format it.

Then....

Plug the thumb drive in. Go back to the Macrium app (with the drive in) and chose Create Rescue Media. The thumb drive will then show. It will not show if it is not plugged in. Choose it and let it create.
