Hello JorritK, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you didn't back up the files, then I'm afraid that you may have lost them.

You can check to see if you may have a "C:\Windows.old" folder that may contain an older copy of your profile folder that you could recover some of your files from.

I couldn't find a ''C:\Windows.old'' so I also think I lost everything. From now on I'll be working a lot more with back ups.
Still thanks for the help or else I would be still in a Temp profile.

Yeah, it stinks since there's usually already an issue with your original profile that caused you to get a temp profile.

I see now that still some programs are visible and working, but some stuff is completely gone. How is that possible?

Brink, I managed to get my bookmarks back somehow when logging on my name today after turning the computer on. However, I have yet another problem again with my mom's name. Her name was fine and working after I had fixed it. She managed to get her bookmarks back but now when I try to log on her name it's just a black screen with nothing loading. I was trying to do something on her name but then I logged onto my name to try which as no pages on the internet were loading on her name, which my name is still working just fine as I'm leaving this on it. I logged off and restarted the computer in hopes that would get it to load but upon logging back onto her name her name isn't coming up but rather is just a black screen as I said. I have restarted and logged off many times but still nothing. Why isn't her name working now and has a black screen just when it was fine?

    KC,

    I'm sorry to hear that.

As a test, make sure that Fast Startup is turned off while you are signed in to your account to rule that out as a possible source.
