In your screen shot there is a box for "Network Band". What are the options you get when you click edit?

Have you ask you Telco for instructions. Assuming they sold you device and service have they been able to provide any insights?

The USB Aircard I'm using is not bought from my network provider, only the SIM card.

Anyway, I could call them but they are not very helpful, might give it a go and ring them tomorrow .......

My desktop Windows 10 Pro PC is connected through an Ethernet cable to my router. My router must be issuing a WiFi signal since my Samsung Tablet wirelessly connects to the web as well. So how come when I go to the Windows 10 SETTINGS | NETWORK & INTERNET screen I do not see a WiFi option in the left column like I do for my Ethernet connection?

    Hello bromberg, :)

Your PC must have a wireless adapter (ex: USB) to have the "Wi-Fi" page available in Settings.

    ....... just checked again.

    Code:
    netsh wlan show drivers
    Hosted network supported : Yes

    Otherwise the WiFi-Hotspot I created via CMD wouldn't work, I guess .......

Not sure if it'll help but this was a great resource as i was having the same issue where i could not toggle to turn the mobile hotspot setting off and on. But i Basically Reset all my network configurations then turned my WiFi off . turned off the mobile hotspot. the uninstall a few programs i got suggested to remove. the first was bonjour. It was mentions as a possible root cause to not being able to toggle the hotspot setting so i got rid of that one. I then deleted the bit-defender antivirus program i had installed i had to restart and deleted a program extension from the removed antivirus . SO THE POSSIBLE CAUSE COULD BE IN YOUR ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE. Remove it then reinstall after you've set up your networks. then i enabled windows defender. I then reset and checked the setting again to toggle the hotspot on and voila it worked . i set up the net works on both my laptop and droid and got everything synced and its working for me now after a whole day of frustration not being able to toggle the hop spot on and off. Hope this helps in any way. and sorry for the bad grammar.

....... thanks a lot for your reply.

Sounds like a pretty far out procedure for an average user to get a M$ build-in click and go feature working, but I guess you might got a point and when I have some leftover time I might give it a go and post back the results.

    Thanks again .......

Hello @bennyca, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

What build of Windows 10 do you currently have installed? The Mobile Hotspot feature is not available in Settings until build 14316.
