I just tested the safe mode with networking option on my system to see if anything may have changed, but it's still working for me.

It appears something required for your Internet connection is not getting loaded while in Safe Mode.

If you like as a test, you could see how manually booting into Safe Mode with Networking using an option in the tutorial below may for you. The context menu in this tutorial uses the same command in Option 3 below.

I would compare your running processes in Task Manager while in normal mode vs Safe Mode with Network to see if anything may stand out for your Internet connection.

It seems to be something required is not loading in Safe Mode.

There was only two processes really different from the normal mode, by that I mean in the « Mémoire » column, it was at zero. It’s Cortana and the process named « Interruptions du système (System interruptions) », beside that, there was nothing outstanding ???

I'd look under the "Apps" section to see something may be running related to the network connection.

You might also see if running the "Internet Connections" or "Network Adapter" troubleshooters while in Safe Mode with Network may find anything.

According to this answer, Windows 10 doesn’t allow you to have network whilst on WiFi, if you want to go to Safe Mode with Network, you must be using an ethernet connection !???

I’m answering you from the Safe Mode with Network, in which I got, using your very useful script.

So, it is true, using a laptop, you must be connected in Ethernet if you want to use Safe Mode with Network !

I haven't tested this, but read that some folks were able to use Wi-Fi in Safe Mode with Network with this method:

1) When you restart to boot into Safe Mode with Network, manually connect to Wi-Fi on the sign-in screen first.

2) Sign-in.

3) If needed, manually connect to Wi-Fi again, and test connection.
