This is one of the main reasons why I do so many tutorials. You never know when you need to look up how to do something again later, and forget about remembering how to do it.
Yep, and it makes it easier to find in search, because, instead of making one large tutorial on a subject, you break the subject up in to smaller single tutorials for a specificthingarea of interst, then link the rest at the bottom.
That way, while looking, if it isn't what I need, I usually look at the links first, before going back to the search results.
This does not seems to work in Windows 10 ver 1809. My inactive windows title bar is black nomatter what value I put in AccentColorInactive DWORD.
It worked fine before the upgrade, so maybe ver 1809 needs another trick??
Nm. After a reboot, it has changed the color to my liking. Sorry.
An excellent tutourial, that flash of whiteness was really annoying.
l dont suppose theirs a way of stopping the Caption Button going into lnactive mode is there.
lf not, thats okay lm happy to not have my title bar flashing white so thank you for that.
Hello @strikeron1, and welcome to Ten Forums.
I'm afraid the caption buttons background color shares the same color as the title bar.
If it helps, you are able to change the size of the caption buttons.

Hello @Brink ,Im happy to be here thank you
Its the colour of the caption button, the minimise/maximise ,that l was hoping to change.
They darken out when l click around the taskbar and other places.
lts like theyve gone into inactive mode.
lm pretty sure l was able to do that on windows 7 ,have the caption button stay white,no fading at all.
When i go to use red and put in 0000ff and then click ok nothing happens and when i go back in and look at the dword it only has ff.
Am i doing something wrong?
Edit: I got it working. Great tutorial.
