So the difference is that in cmd you set "create partition primary" & "active" and this will make it bootable.. I was thinking that right click-format will also do that

Hi Shawn,
My Windows Defender was broken, so I did the Windows 10 repair upgrade. Everything went fine, mechanically.
I was hoping you could clear up something for me. I was running 1903.
At Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10 | Tutorials It says
Which is Windows 1903, but further down the page iy says
When i saw MediaCreationTool1909.exe, I was concerned, because my intention was to avoid 1909 so early in it's inception, learning the hard way in the past that it's prudent to let them iron out all the kinks before upgrading.
Did I miss a more explicit disclaimer that I would be bumped up to 1909?
Am I worrying about nothing? How is 1909 working for you?
Hello @kitpzyxmsir,
Currently, it should say this below. Now updated.
MCT will currently create a USB for Windows 10 version 1909 build 18363.418 as of November 12, 2019.
Or uninstall KB4517245 Enablement CU if it gets thru.
KB4517245 Feature Update via Windows 10 v1909 Enablement Package
