How to Enable or Disable Preload New Tab Page in Microsoft Edge Chromium

Microsoft has adopted the Chromium open source project in the development of Microsoft Edge on the desktop to create better web compatibility. This new Microsoft Edge runs on the same Chromium web engine as the Google Chrome browser, offering you best in class web compatibility and performance.

The new Chromium based Microsoft Edge is supported on all versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows Server (2016 and above), Windows Server (2008 R2 to 2012 R2), and macOS.

Microsoft Edge loads the New Tab page in the background by default to make it faster. The content that is loaded might include cookies, if you allow cookies.

This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable preloading the new tab page in the background in the Chromium based Microsoft Edge.

    hi eveyone.

with help of god, i've found yesterday the registry hack for edge CHROMIUM.

here how to disable preload in edge chromium in registry:

    go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge

in Edge, add REG_DWORD name NewTabPagePrerenderEnabled and the value 0.

now you can to go to edge://settings/newtabpage and you'll see that its invalid to change.
