I'll pin this to the taskbar for now so I have a quick short cut. Do you know if it will be included with the next Windows 10 release in the Spring?

Currently I have installed only Powershell v5.1 on Windows 7 on one of my computers.
Now I want to try PowerShell v7.04 on this Windows 7 computer
I prefer not to use the *.msi installation package (for PowerShell v7.04) but download the portable *.zip package instead.
Assume I extracted this Powershell package into D:\Powershell\v10\
How can I tell Windows 7 to automatically use temporarily this newer Powershell version instead of the existing v5.1?
Second question:
Assume I use the v7.04 *.msi package to overwrite the existing Powershell v5.1:
Is there a way to later downgrade to v5.1 again?
So ok, assume I have two Powershell installations in Win7
Now I put a PowerShell command into a *.ps1 or into a *.bat DOS batch script and start the script
How does Win7 decide which Powershell installation/version it should use?
How can I force Windows to use the other (=non-default) Powershell installation?
Windows will use the 5.1 by default.
You can set the .ps1 file type to use the PowerShell 7.x app by default instead.
