Please, Help!!!
I tried the autoarrange trick from this page:
How to Disable Auto Arrange in Folders in Windows 10 and then realized it doesn't work anymore. You can rearrange manually the icons, but as soon as you move to another folder, the custom arrangement is lost, so It is of no use. What's more, now the cursor navigation in folders works as bad as the old versions of Windows. I mean, when you are at the rightmost icon in a line, if you press cursor right key, instead of moving to the leftmost icon in the next line, nothing happens. You can move up and down but you can't move right when you are at the rightmost or left when you are at the leftmost.
What's worse, when you delete a file, the next file is not highlighted so if you try to move with the cursors, it takes you to the first icon of the view!
In special folders like Downloads or pictures, the cursors still work the way they work normally.
Trying to get everything back to normal I found this thread and run the bat file Enable_Auto_Arrange_in_File_Explorer.bat but it doesn't work. Autoarrange and Align to grid still appear in the view submenu and the cursor navigation is still broken.
I created a new user account and everything works normally there, so I can see it is a user configuration failure in my profile. How can I fix it?
