Does nahimic contribute to sound quality in any way, or is more of an enabler for the fancy gamer stuff asus includes?
My personal opinion here, but I find Nahimic to be absolute trash. Just some gimmicky artificial sounding effects that are not even as good as the ones that used to come default with the Realtek driver...but worse, it is just a separate, third party bloatware, that has to run in the background even when not in use.
What pisses me off to no end is that my MSI B450 board refuses to give me a fully functional default Realtek driver that includes the "Enhancements" tab with effects like "Loudness Equalization" on any of the newer drivers because it appears they have hard coded Nahimic in as a dependency for that and strip it out of the driver. So all I get is this...
The last good, fully working driver for me is 6.0.1.8228 (still one of the best sounding too), which gives me this (notice the additional enhancements tab and actual effects rather than "launch Nahimic nonsense" which is not even installed)...

Always update my Realtek with UAD Nahimic , in Win10, goes perfectly everytime.
But I cant find the folder A-Volute..........
I think your motherboard isn't a ROG board, so you might not have it.
A-Volute is the company that develops the Nahimic software, but ROG owners also get Sonic Suite 3 which uses the Nahimic technology to full capacity, and regular ASUS boards don't.

also A-volute made the alienware sound center app for certain models of Dell Alienware laptops

I think there are 2 or 3 versions of Nahmic depending on age of the Board and also Sonic Studio , sonic Studio 2 works with my Asus X99A-II but only with the Driver it comes with from Asus , none of these latest Drivers , DTS Studio doesn't work with the Latest Drivers Either actually.
I'm currently running driver version .7541 however can't seem to get .7571 to work (located herehttps://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/5993-latest-realtek-hd-audio-driver-version.html.) Downloaded and extracted fine however whenever I try to run...
