Did the firmware update fix any problems or did it cause new ones?
It made the mics work across all platforms. However, when I was closing Skype, it crashed my PC and I had to restart.

After that, the mic didn't work anywhere.

So I then uninstalled the Brio, uninstalled the firmware, and installed everything again.

If you can't get the Brio to work is it possible it has failed? Do you have another computer to try it on to see if the problem is with the Brio or not?

The Brio has a 3-year warranty. Is yours still under warranty?

The Brio works with Zoom, and other software like Logitech capture. Full video and audio work there now.

I think I got the Brio in 2020.

Only Skype video stopped working today.

I tested my webcam with Skype. The webcam video worked but the microphone didn't. I went into the Windows settings under Privacy and found that tor the Microphone the Skype app was set to Off. I turned it On and tried Skype again. The microphone still didn't work. However, I rebooted the computer and tried again. This time the webcam microphone worked with Skype

Almost sounds like my problem, except that Skype was set to on for permissions, and it took reinstallation of the Brio and firmware, to get it to work.

If I check "Allow desktop apps to access your camera", I see 3 apps. Firefox, Skype, Zoom.

I started Skype, went to test settings, and my PC crashed.

When it restarted, video was working in Skype again, but my mic on all platforms stopped working.

I guess I'll try reinstalling the driver again.

Now I'm back to the point again where the webcam works on all platforms, except video doesn't work on Skype. Only mic on Skype.

Skype web isn't any better. Still no video.

I just tried plugging the web cam into a different USB port.

I think it's working on all platforms now. Skype, Zoom, etc. I don't get a crash when I test the settings on Skype.

I'll leave this open for a few days, since I've had so many problems the past few days, going back and forth between the mic not working; to the webcam working on most platforms except video on Skype.
