    You did a lot of things. There may be a problem with the new oem installer or it may be other things.

    Gigabyte seemed to pull the 9313 driver without providing any reason (so that oem driver may have problems). Mouse over to Dru2's download link and you see the download link to say z690 ud ddr4.

    Which Audio Driver should I download? | Windows 11 Forum

    But now z690 ud ddr4's download web page doesn't have 6.0.9313.1 at all.

    Z690 UD DDR4 (rev. 1.x) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global

    You may try to DDU and completely clean out your previous drivers.

    Then do #1 and then try directly go to #4.
    DDU, I didn't realize this does audio drivers. Will do, thank you for the tip.

    Gigabyte does still list 9313 on some of their older products,
    1. Z390 AORUS MASTER (rev. 1.0) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
    2. H310M D3H 2.0 (rev. 1.0) Support | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
    3. B650 GAMING X AX V2|AORUS - GIGABYTE (here oddly, 373 was released before 313

    I'll let you know how it goes, tx.

    3) install the oem 6.0.9652.1 and write down all version numbers.
    4) install the latest muc driver 6.0.9673.1 and 1.0.756.0

    If RPC error, note what realtek audio services are disabled on startup in the startup tab in task manager --- and which version of which software components and driver.

    Then he can go backward (by rollback drivers) or forward in time.

    Attachment 411607

    One must install the MUC driver through device manager. Question, I thought the RPC error will happen if you install a non OEM driver through device manager. Or is that only a problem when using MUC as the initial installation driver? If starting with OEM, then updating the driver in device manager, then updating to MUC there is no problem?

    Only the OEM installer can install the extension inf. Therefore OEM driver must be install first and must use the installer to install it.

    MUC can then be updated (via device manager) on top of oem driver.

    it was actually 6.0.9373.1 that got pulled by Gigabyte, not 6.0.9313.1 as that one is still available from these links from Gigabyte {download 1} {download 2}
    mainly because the 6.0.9652.1 version supersedes/replaces the 6.0.9373.1 & 6.0.9313.1 versions for recent Gigabyte boards (B650/Z690/Z790/B760/H610) made in the past few years.

    and the newest "all oem" audio driver from MUC is now 6.0.9676.1 {the 12.3Mb cab download}
