Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version [3]

Asus is always on the lead with the latest realtek drivers. Why are those drivers not universal so everyone could use them (like a vga driver)

Mokichu is unofficial driver release for Asus motherboard.

Microsoft update catalog is at 9501 right now and merely 3 weeks behind.

Does FOMO (fear of missing out) warrant Asus end users to install unofficial drivers --- for a 3 week difference?

You can grab the Realtek software components from any official realtek drivers and they will work in all computers.

The actual MSI realtek 9514 driver won't install on non-MSI computers, but the realtek software components from this MSI motherboard will work in all computers.

The driver may or may not work on your msi crosshair laptop as I explained desktop and laptop have different inf files.

9503 from MUC and software components from MSI on my non-MSI computer.

ah, 9503 & 9506 were released back-to-back 5/28 on MUC

should have waited a little longer for 9506 to show up on MUC, Michel86 & sandyt

That driver is universal for msi, even my driver is in the inf files (SUBSYS_14621394)

If the inf matches, then you should also update the extension inf. It should be in the ExtRtk folder.

Not sure right now lol, the driver did install just fine but sounds are gone. Guess i am out of luck haha

The Software Components also include the NEW RealtekASIO_10.
I know it has been touched upon, but is there any way to go from Realtek Audio Effects 11.0.6000.1096 to 12.142.1103.132?
