No Audio Output Device is installed

Many thanks everybody for your help.

In my old laptop updated to windows 10,
I suppose to have lost audio drivers.
Version should be Windows 10.0 ( 20H2 Os Build 19042.964).

Tried to add Chipset drivers for processor intel Atom x5-Z8300. (Rejected by system).

Windows is not able to find the Sound card installed on my system :

Troubleshooting (Find and fix problems with playing sound) couldn't identify the problem :

''Hardware changes might not have been detected'' .
(Indeed I added a Storage device 60 Gb, in order to fully update Windows 10 since my old Laptop had only Gb 60 memory on SSD disk space).

Hello, welcome to tenforums. Exact model of laptop please, I can only find one with an x7.

Could you please post the driver download page for this laptop.

You say it's old- how old is it? Which edition of Windows was it previously running?
Does it have a sound driver for Win 10? If not, what was the last edition of Windows supported?

Here's your screenshot in a more readable orientation.

You've only 4Gb RAM. Are you running a 64 bit or 32 bit (more efficient for restricted RAM) O/S?
Originally was it supplied with a 32 bit or 64 bit O/S?

Dear dalchina, many thanks for your kind reply.

Here the driver download page :

Akeeba Backup Site Restoration Script v. 8.0.4 (Drivers downloaded , but page not available in my computer today: error 404). (I have downloaded drivers on a file).

Voyo-Pc is a computer with tablet mode (touchscreen) at same time. May be 7/10 years old. (I have other computer for daily use). Screen 13,3 inch.
    Previous system Windows 7
Operating System : x64 based processor

You asked if my computer has a sound driver for Win 10?
Unable to verify if it has a sound driver or not.
    I had a look in Bios :
No Audio Output Device is installed-bios.sound.voyo.jpg

You asked if it originally was supplied with a 32 bit or 64 bit O/S.
I think 64 bit (I do not remember exactly).

In this internet page there is a computer brand Voyo : with same processor (unfortunately drivers are listed, but not available) but with different screen measure (11, inch):
    OS download / Vbook series / VBOOK V1 / Image Text tutorial-VOYO tablet---official website
Same processor computer available : Vbook V1
My old computer is : Voyo-Pc (no more on selling).

    Hi, thanks.
    OS download / Vbook series / VBOOK V1 / OS download-VOYO tablet---official website
    - links to downloads are dead

The odd thing is, as you know, there is no Sound section listed by Dev. Manager.

It may simply be that this device is not capable of running Win 10 or supported for it.
You upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 I believe, so otherwise should be compatible (e.g. if it was 32 bit, will be 32 bit now etc).

If you upgraded less than 10 days ago you do have the option to roll back. You can extend that within that period up to 60 days (tutorial available).

By way of an outside chance, you could try running a driver updater tool e.g.
Snappy Driver Installer - Install and Update Drivers for Free

    - which I'd only suggest when there seems no other option.

The worrying thing is there seems no obvious potential candidate listed in your Device Manager, except for that rather odd accelerometer. I suppose you could try accessing that and checking for driver updates...

You asked if it originally was supplied with a 32 bit or 64 bit O/S. I think 64 bit (I do not remember exactly).
This is important. You said you've upgraded to Win 10. Did you do that when logged in to Win 7? Or did you in fact clean install Win 10?

Have a look here: does it say 64bit or 32 bit?
No Audio Output Device is installed-1.png

Find the original specifications for it. Do they say 32 or 64 bit?

If 32 bit and you've installed a 64 bit O/S, you are less likely to be successful.
Further, on a small machine, a 32 bit O/S is more efficient.

Unfortunately some drivers are not installed.
Snappy Driver showed following error , device error 28 :
    Sorry, don't understand.

    Which drivers are missing?

I guess this is a tablet with 32Gb or 64Gb emmc storage- which will present difficulty when upgrading.

From what I can see you've not been able to find a manufacturer's driver download page for your exact PC.

As regards finding drivers compatible with your device, I'm afraid that rests wiht you. If the device is specified for Win 7 byt the manufacturer, and not Win 10, you may or may not be successful running Win 10 on it.

Try this: using the exact details of your tablet, try to find any example of it running Win 10. E.g. on ebay or some second hand site- anywhere.

Normally a first option is to try to find the nearest drivers for mssing hardware from the manufacturer.

You can contact the manufacturer for advice.

If you can identify the missing driver, try this:
My UMBus Enumerator is showing up as an unknown device with no driver

Failing that, you can finally try other driver updaters.

If all else fails, return to Win 7 if you wish to continue to use the device.

Screenshots rather than posting angled shots of the screen, use Windows features to capture a screenshot.
Take a Screen Snip with Snip and Sketch in Windows 10
or use the PrtSc key and edit in Paint e.g.
    Take Screenshot in Windows 10
