Popping and Crackling Sounds when notifications come

    Dear all,
I am facing an annoying problem I think since I have update my laptop to Windows 10 version 2004.
I have the sound off, most of the time, and theres an crackling sound when a notification comes, (eg. email notification).
This only happens when my laptop is connected to external power.
Does anyone face a problem like this and have a solution?
    Thanks,
    Jorge

I noticed that you haven't had a reply and I thought I would try to help.

Have you checked the manufacturers [ HP ] website for updated drivers?

I am dealing with it since it upgraded to windows 10 2004.
    Since then its a nightmare.
I have tried several versions of Hp Realtek drivers and all the other drivers, followes all the tips I have found in the web and the noises are still here.
It happens the most when the laptop is runnig on external energy, on startup, when a notification pops, sliding the volume up and down.
Most of the time I have the speakers muted but the noises pop up I think from the subwoofer.

    Hello @Jorge Martins,

I assume that you have checked that all the leads etc are seated firmly?

Yes Paul, I have opened the notebook and checked all this, the only thing that was not ok was one of the cables of the Wifi card.Popping and Crackling Sounds when notifications come-img_20200826_225202.jpgPopping and Crackling Sounds when notifications come-img_20200826_225202.jpg

    Hello @Jorge Martins,

Just a thought, can you please perform the following [ this checks for ANY Problem Device Errors ] . . .

[1] Goto this TenForums link => Batch Scripts / Programs.
[2] Goto the heading Find ANY Problem Devices . . .
[3] Download and Run the .bat file [ Find_ANY_Problem_Devices.bat ].

If there are ANY errors it will create a Prob_Devices.txt file on the Desktop!

    I hope this helps!
