locked out of advanced sound settings ??

So i got all new drivers for my audio and video and despite this I'm still locked out, HP support said its a windows issues as there drivers for Realtek fully support this function to 24 bit sample rate, i have turned off spatial sounds thinking this may be the issue, but nope its still locked out, Someone tell me how to fix this, i even reinstalled windows today thinking that was it nope. so what's going on and why is this locked out. i have even tried removing all the check boxes in there nothing it's still greyed out.

Hi, the forum prompted you to specify your full Windows build number (so we don't have to keep asking). Could you please do so? Thanks.

Are you using external speakers of any kind, or the laptop speakers, or headphones? This seems to be associated with the use of bluetooth devices. Note:

Can you access it by going
Start - Control panel - Hardware and sound - Manage audio devices - Right click on speakers
    - Properties - Advanced

This is what mine looks like - there are a couple of extra items on yours.

Try a clean boot (google or see tutorial if unsure how) and check the sample rate setting again to see if something is conflicting with this- there are one or two mentions of this happening.

@dalchina yes someone said hardware acceleration and someone said spatial audio but i turned that off so its not that in fact MS connected and disabled it to see, and they also disabled hardware acceleration, as well, not even they could figure it out. I did a clean boot it still like this, i even made a new user account a backup admin account offline from a MS account still like this . hoping someone else has experienced this and no how to fix.

You have a Bang and Olufsen sound card.

The problem may be associated with that or related software.

Trying to access Playback Devices in Sound doesn't work (there is no option to turn off Enhancements; the Enhancements tab just lists the name of the software, and the options to change the sample rate or bit depth are grayed out). Uninstalling the driver altogether and attempting to install a new one doesn't work (Conexant reinstalls itself automatically, including B&O).

Get rid of Bang & Olufsen'''s horrible "enhancements" : techsupport

Suggest you post in HP's forums and look for people with similar hardware.

    However, the post above says
The users on the HP support forum are clueless. HP tech support by phone and by IM are clueless. I have half a mind to get a different model, but nothing else is comparable in terms of the specs I'm looking for, and besides, there has to be a way to remove software that comes with a computer. Registry Editor, hex editor, I don't care. Please, somebody, anybody, help me just get rid of B&O once and for all.
