latency issues, random stutter + audio stutter

hey, im having dificultys with my pc. im having problem with every task im doing, even playing a yt video. so the problem is im having random freezes and audio freezes/lags every 10-40 mins. i dont exactly know whats causing it but im pretty sure its not the disks/ram. ive ran a test on a program called latencymon and thats all ive got. let me know what tests i should do to help give more information about the problem and i will. ive been having the problem for like half a year now and its pissing me off. heres a picture that might help : (bios is last version btw). also ive gotten a lag that made the pc black screen and audio loop and i had to force restart!

Hi please repost your screenshots using the icon above your post with tooltip Insert Image (Tutorial on screenshots available).

As posted clicking on them does not bring up a magnified readable image.

Please also, as was vlearly prompted by the forum when you wrote yorur post, specify your Windows build number.

How old is your PC? Which edition of Windows did it come with? Please post a link to its drivers download page.

History: you say you've been having thie problem for
    'like' half a year now
Do you know what changed about then? e.g.
    - did this start after a Windows upgrade? (From what to what?)
    - after an update?
    - after some other change?

Please use capital letters in your posts- easier to read. Thanks.

Hey, so my pc didn't come with any OS , it was built from parts, had the problem since Ive gotten it which was July 2019.
Tried reinstalling windows, Ram and SSD tests and it passed in all of them, Power management set to performance and even changed stuff in the regirstry editor. all pc parts are new from amazon.
    Windows build is currently 1903.

How to Upload and Post Screenshots and Files at Ten Forums

latency issues, random stutter + audio stutter-1.png

Hi, this is what I meant. See how it exapnd when you click on it.

I can't read this... can you?

Latency issues are often related to drivers but can be due to other things.

If you search the forum for e.g.
    stutter
    Latencymon

starting with the most recent posts, you may find something to help. I strongly suggest you try that.

And maybe someone who helped with one of those may post here when there's a readable report.

No one here is really expert in this, just 2 or 3 have a bit more experience of it.

Here's the first from your Imgur report for others to see.

These are the drivers reported which I've OCR'd for you for people to search for if they wish.

Highest reported ISR routine execution time (us): 13.195658 (Wdf01000.sys - Kernel Mode Driver Framework Runtime, Microsoft
Highest reported DPC routine execution time (us) : 101167.654884 (storport.sys - Microsoft Storage Port Driver

Are you using the latest BIOS?As I suggested, please search the forum for reports related to
    stutter
    Latency
    Latencymon
    There are some solved cases.

If you search generally for e.g.
    Wdf01000.sys latency

you will find various threads, e.g.
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...d-9d6607f91ad9

where someone managed to get better results, albeit not really a solution.

This is a more analytical appraisal:

As you maybe already found via googling, wfd01000.sys is part of Windows Driver Framework.. It's not troublemaker itself, because it's essentially just building block for development of other drivers. There has to be another driver, which is responsible for longstanding calls to wfd01000.sys.

Unfortunately LatencyMon can't really reveal this correlation between drivers and reports just DPC execution times.

One of best tools to find that correlation is Windows Performance Toolkit.

You'll capture a trace by Windows Performance Recorder (WPR) - just basic profile is enough for that.
Then you'll analyze this trace by Windows Performance Analyzer (WPA).. there you can see all ISR/DPC times plotted in graph at time.. So it's pretty easy to find, when some other driver is "peaking" at the same time as the mentioned wfd driver.

Btw. Intel ME is rarely a troublemaker IME, I have several configs, where ME device driver is turned on and it doesn't exhibit any issue. But of course, it can be also system specific.
Note the WPA is a technical tool which provides great graphical analysis, but deters some.

There's a tenforums tutorial, and if you search the forum for e.g. Windows Performance Toolkit. you will see samples of the output as screenshots.
