I never bother with the equaliser after I've checked that it is flat. All of my Hi-Fi amps over the past 30 years haven't had tone controls and that's what I prefer
You can't add something that's not there in the first place.
We think the same way. That's why, when I see those equalizers with the bars shifted a lot of decibels up or down, I always wonder: What music are they listening to, the original, or the one they've invented?

On the other hand, the equalizer is useful to sensibly lower some frequency with which, when reworking the driver, they have gone a little out of hand. Or because your headphones have a tendency to exaggerate some frequency, or leave another one underneath. But always touching it slightly, very slightly. If you have to touch it a lot, it's better to change the equipment.

I have now done it as indicated in the picture. Now wait and see what happens at the next posting.

    Thank you again, Cliff S.

Because you are also German, wanted to ask you on this occasion, if you also have a problem with the Realtek Audio Console:

The drop down menu for speakers "plify Stufe" is sometimes not displayed.
I believe that this is a bug that only occurs in the German version because I have not heard any complaints about it from American forums. "plify Stufe" should be called "Amplify Stufe". The string pointer may point to zero bytes, which means that this field is not displayed.

    Attachment 258944

If you then quit and restart Realtek Audio Console, it is usually available again.

    Did you watch that too?

    If I did this correctly

I used this Realtek Audio Console REQUIRES a Realtek HD (UAD) Driver!!

I followed all the steps. Completly removed HDA and everything it has.

    Downloaded "Gigabytes
    8854_HDA_UAD_Win10_RS3_RS4_RS5_19H1_X64_WHQL_SVID_1458_Inclu_GigabyteAJSExt_1.0.0.78.7z" from alanfox2000 github"

But didnt use setup.exe which is HDA if i am being correct?
Went to device manager and updated high definition audio with folder from alan's git

I assume everything is working correctly now. I cannot acces realtek hda from control panel. Only from realtek audio console.
And i have no realteks folders inside my
    C:\Program Files (x86) / Program Files

    results - https://imgur.com/a/0TkiIix

Can someone experienced confirmed i did everything correct?
Hi. I'm not sure if you have UAD or HDA driver installed, do you have Realtek HD Audio Manager in the Control panel ?

If we look at the size (16.4 MB), I think that driver is UAD. The console to use is "Realtek Audio Console", from the Microsoft store.

    @Destinyg133
I think you should have installed it via setup.exe.

Hi, where do I get the Realtek audio console for 8854.1_HDA_UAD_Win10_RS3_RS4_RS5_19H1_X64_ResellASUS_WHQL.zip, cause the one from MS store doesnt work.
It can be downloaded from realtek-universal-audio-driver release - include old version and for DISM installation

After RealtekHSA.inf is installed, Windows will find Realtek Audio Control in MS Store and install the latest version of the app automatically.
RealtekHSA.inf must be installed in the PC before you try install Control Panel from MS Store. Otherwise, MS Store will fail to download.

generic FFxx HDA driver versions are produced less often lately than UAD drivers, shubham0saroha.
and they take much longer to get WHQL certified by Microsoft unlike UAD drivers, which get certified fairly quickly

this is to be expected since OEMs implement Realtek UAD drivers lately on many modern devices than HDA (non-UAD) drivers.
what kind of computer do you use shubham0saroha?

there are 8858 HDA FF00 & FF03 drivers recently available but they're for ASUS only [not for other OEMs].
waiting to see from a "secret insider" if "generic" Realtek HDA drivers will be made for 8858
