I initially used the wrong file.. I used Enable instead of Disable. It's working now.

I don't think it will keep trying to update. At least it doesn't, in my case.
Maybe after rebooting this might stop. Just give it a try

Rebooted... checked for updates. I am UP TO DATE!!! Yippee!!!!! I love it when a plan comes together!!!
