Realtek Audio Manager Not in Startup

    Hello all.

I may be remembering wrong but when you install Realtek's HD Audio drivers, isn't the audio manager supposed to be in the Startup menu? I no longer see it there, and I'd like to know if it's possible to get it back there (if it was ever supposed to be there in the first place).

I have a feeling I may have screwed up the audio drivers when I tried to update them (following these directions) because I didn't know what Realtek had done with the whole UAD thing and installed those without realizing that legacy HDA versions existed. I had to spend a few hours trying to figure out how to get the legacy drivers back on once I realized that the UAD drivers were for newer motherboards, but I managed to fix things in the end. Luckily, this post helped me out with that.

    My Realtek starts thus:

There are several locations used to start programs.

Thanks for that. Interestingly though, the issue seems to have resolved itself while I was installing the 1809 update. I guess that must've fixed the registry for startup items.

Your drivers would have been reinstalled during that.
