Missing Drivers after Windows Updates - Sound and DVD Drive

    Hi all,
My time on Windows 10 has been good so far. But the latest round of Windows Updates has given me sound driver and CD/DVD drive driver issues.
    Please see images attached.

I have a Samsung Series 3 laptop and I am in the UK. I have tried the Samsung Software update facility which doesn't show any driver updates. I have tried the Sound troubleshooter which told me to restart but still the issue persists.

    Many thanks.

Hi, what do you see if you enter your exact model here
    Download Center | Samsung LEVANT
or wherever you might normally find your drivers?
(You haven't quoted your exact model number).

    Windows 10 Update Information
Here you can determine if Samsung has tested your device for compatibility with Win 10.

If not, you are always at risk at some point of not having compatible or a complete set of drivers.

You can download a generic Realtek driver here:

Here's an example of the difficulties some have encountered. This suggests some other options if necessary, including getting older drivers, and if necessary installing them incompatibility mode.
