Driver sound level is back to normal then the previous driver. As for sound quality I listen to high quality Apple Music so I do notice.
One of my go-to albums when testing updates is Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak".
Voice, guitars, bass, and drums. The raw sound of a band in the 70s and not the over-produced stuff often found in today's music.
I wish sound engineers and producers would go back to the older ways. New technology would be of much help to recapture those sounds.
But, let's not go too OT, lol.
My 2 cents.
I agree with everyone else that build 8176 is the best sounding version yet.
As a side note, I don't know if this feature was added with a recent Realtek driver update or was part of a Windows update, but the new "spatial sound" features are impressive. I purchased the Dolby Atmos thing from the Windows Store and enabled 7.1 surround sound.....with good quality headphones the sound is amazing! I always considered simulated surround sound merely a gimmick that did nothing to enhance true sound quality, but Dolby has changed my mind. Listening to music on my PC is now much more enjoyable.
Station-Drivers seems to have 8176 with both 32bit and 64bit and there's even a version with Dolby.

Yes, mistyped! LOL
Have a question, does your Windows 10 Creators Update Control Panel still have a Real HD Audio Manager for 8176? I downloaded the one from station-drivers and used the setup.exe and while the Real HD Audio Manager is in the start menu, it's nowhere to be found in the Control Panel.
