No ethernet connectivity
One problem, no ethernet connectivity. I'm using WIN10586PESE_x64 ISO V160707 on a Dell XPS 8700[64],Win8.1 [getting ready for a Win10 clean install]. All goes well until no network connectivity after boot. I figured out how to use the PE Network Manager 0.59B3 to establish wifi and that was successful. I tried the ethernet part of PE NetMgr and got nowhere. Then I remembered that when I did the clean install of Win8.1[64] on the desktop, I did not have ethernet connectivity until I installed the Dell update for the Realtek adapter [Realtek 8.18.621.2013]. I immediately got ethernet connectivity. My conclusion at the time was that Win8.1 ISO from the MCT ISO download driver did not support the Dell adapter as delivered [something funny about it?]. If the Win 8.1 adapter driver was later fixed by a Win update, I couldn't get to it at clean install time. Am I running into the same sort of problem using the Win10PESE pkg? Maybe it's something as simple as I don't know how to correctly set up PE NetMgr for my particular environment. Luckily the wifi works, so I have minimal internet connectivity, but I sure would like to have the Realtek adapter working. Any ideas? Any tips to look out for with the PE NetMgr? Pretty vanilla home setup and I have all the requisite IP addresses.
