    Microsoft Store totally broke?

So.....uh....out of the blue, the microsoft store app on my computer has decided to completely die. Like, it won't open, at all.....no matter what i do. I ran the holy trinity (dism, chkdsk, sfc), nothing found. i tried running wsreset in an admin cmd, and this happened
    Microsoft Store totally broke?-capture.png

so, i chose to run the last non-nuclear option i had, a repair install, and to my bafflement, THAT DID NOTHING, FIXED NOTHING!!!!! Whatever the [REDACTED] is going on with my windows, the microsoft store app refuses to boot, and i didn't even update my computer. Now the only other solution i found that might work for me after a quick dip into duckduckgo, was the worst nuclear option: Hard Reset, start fresh, do it all over again.....and bro....i do NOT want to do that, not for just one singular app, i'm not that desparate

I wish i had a functioning restore point to go back to, but i did a wipe of all my old restore points and forgot to make a fresh one before this problem happened, and yes, i tried re-registering the microsoft store app, even downloaded it through here, at least after i matched the currently installed version number to the proper package, thinking that if i "reinstalled" it that way, it would work.....but ofc, it did not.

I seek assistance please.....and on the off chance it isn't just me experiencing this problem right now, or for those that DID experience this exact same problem or some variation of it.....please share what worked for you so i can see if it works for me

Hi, I've seen nothing to suggest this is a general problem - and my build is the same as yours.

Have you ever changed permissions on the WindowsApps folder?

a repair install, and to my bafflement, THAT DID NOTHING, FIXED NOTHING!!!!!
Please confirm that completed normally, and you received 1 or more Windows updates after it completed.

Noting you say you still have the problem, please try this:

Create a completely new user account just for test purposes (you can delete it later).
    Log in to that account.
    Does the Store work normally?

Please confirm that your account is a MS account.

I wish i had a functioning restore point to go back to
I'm going to assume you haven't yet started to use 3rd party disk imaging as is endlessly recommended here. (I won't ask whether you have or not as most people simply ignore the question!).

The repair install did work properly, at least in the way that i didn't get a "couldn't finish install, rolling back changes" message. And after it finished, windows update did download and install more than one update. also i DO use macrium reflect to do full backups of my stuff, but i didnt do a recent one lately, the last one was over a year ago. Also the account my computer uses is a local account, and i just made ANOTHER temp local account to try and open the microsoft store app in, and it didnt work

I'm also wondering what use the Store is to you without a MS account... see
Use Local account with Windows Store

    again:
Have you ever changed permissions on the WindowsApps folder?

    - and FWIW what does the Store apps troubleshooter report (including any detailed report)?

none of the potential issues were flagged, and the detection details said BITS was already active

    Let's try something basic.

Please run Crystal Diskinfo and report the health of your drive.

If ok, try (3) and (4) here, then (7):
