Advice on Remote Desktop Apps (Win10)
Hello and thank you for reading and helping with my post.
I am looking for a free Remote Desktop application for Win10.
It has to be very simple to sign on too for the one that needs the help...
(I am a sarcastic person not trying to offend anyone btw...)
Here are the issues. Many of you probably have the same scenario. We are the lucky one's that family call when they have an issue with their PC. Some of these family members or friends despite using Windows for 25+ years absolutely suck at using it and despite using it for at least a quarter of their lifetime or more they can't do anything to address a problem other than calling you. ...but it only gets worse.
Once you have them on the phone there is a complete disconnect as to what they even call certain screens, items, icons and folders, and the right mouse button seems like a new invention to them every time you troubleshoot issues. They never use a right click...crazy but somehow they got your wife right!
Anyway, the problem could be as simple as deleting an item and rebooting or downloading a file and they can't find the file even though you made a custom Red folder on the desktop that says All Your Downloads' they still can't find them. You pray that you never have to unzip something. The nightmares!
So to keep my sanity I need and I do mean I need a Remote Desktop app so I don't have to waste an hour on the phone and a car ride over to plug back in a PRINTER USB wire that was said to have been checked 3 times only to find out they do not know what a USB wire is anymore! I can't do it any more folks! This is not even entertaining anymore to tell my friends a funny story. I just want t be able to connect, fix the issue and roll-out. The big issue is that they too must be able to connect ...
So if anyone has an idea of the best Free App or trial for a remote desktop that is simple to use on their end please let me know.
