    Very Simple MediaPlayer For Windows 10 ?


    I occasionally want to play a "wav" or "mp3" file but do not have a suitable programme on my Windows 10 machines unless I instal Windows media player.

    On my old Windows 7 machines I have MPHC installed and havn't updated the programme in years. I also have it installed on one Windows 10 machine but there seem to be updates available for it, or its associated codecs about every 10 days or so that I find a bind to instal.

    There is VLC which I suppose is an option but would consider this overkill for my use.

    I tried a few out years ago [ and since ], and I always come back to VLC, as it pretty much plays anything you throw at it. There is also a Portable version.

    Will probably go over to VLC as I have tried it before for other purposes.
    However out of personal interest I would want it to minimize to the size of MPHC as per attached pic.
