Apologies if this isn't the right forum to report errors, but I'm a first time user of Win10XPE and have encountered a hard stop error when creating my ISO. It occurs during the AOMEI installation. Here's the summary:

[Failed] (Assistant_XPE.Script) FileCopy - Failed to copy [%BaseDir%\Temp\AOMEI Partition Assistant\AOMEI Partition Assistant\x64\exfat.dll] to: [%BaseDir%\ISO\Programs\AOMEI Partition Assistant\exfat.dll]: The system cannot find the file specified.

I've checked the file locations and they were present when the build failed.

I've selected Mini-Tool Partition Wizard for now.

Play AOMEI Partition Assistant again, then go to the Log tab to save it and share it, please
exfat.dll does not exist in AOMEI Partition Assistant 9.6. It is tested, you should not have this error!
    Code:
    If,ExistFile,%Sapp%\x64\exfat.dll,FileCopy,%Sapp%\x64\exfat.dll,%Tapp%
    Else,FileCopy,%Sapp%\x64\exfat#$c2.dll,%Tapp%\exfat.dll
With PA 9.6, exfat,2.dll is present and should be copied

Try the latest script found in post 2 at this link: Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media [2]

That latest script worked for me when I had the same problem.

I see that ChrisR responded at almost same time as me. His answer, of course, will also work. He is real good at all things Win10XPE related.

I think you'll find that's the same version of file as is in Chris's latest distribution, but you are correct, if that's not being used then the file you pointed to will fix the error

    @mikehd
d/l the new script and overwrite the one in ...\Projects\MyPlugins\Apps\HD Tasks with it.

btw if you're not already using it, the latest release is available in post # 426 you are probably better starting off with that

I just updated the package, without changing the version number, to add Rufus 3.17

    Hi mikehd

not sure what's happening but your log suggests your using an old Aomei Partition Assistant script, not the ones posted in either post #2, #4 or in the latest distribution package

ps it's 1.40 am here - got to go and get some zzzz

    Thanks, I'll take a look.

The ones I have are dated 1/7/2022. I'll copy the 12/23/2021 ones to my directory and test.
