Revo Uninstaller vs Revo uninstaller pro...

When you uninstall a program through "Programs and Features" and afterwards, launch Revo, that program is not listed in Revo...

Does the Pro version of Revo list programs that have been removed through "Programs and Features" ?

Only if the installation of the program was specifically monitored by Revo, and Revo thus has a log of its installation.

    Thank you for your reply.

Consider: how could Revo be monitoring the program installation if it was not running?
Suggest you review features of Revo Pro on its site.

I am a bit obsessive...so it should be running ? just say yes or no....
Does the free version of Revo have this feature ?

The free version does not have installation monitoring. In the free or pro version if a program has already been uninstalled with the Windows uninstaller before you install Revo then the program won't be listed on Revo.

Again, thank you very much for your reply.

Revo Pro has the ability to monitor installations. Free does not.

To function, it must be running. If it is not running, it cannot monitor anything.

Look: I've done the work to search for this for you which I suggested you do:

Revo Uninstaller Free - Remove unwanted programs easily

    It shows this:

Note the bottom line. Monitoring - in Pro.

I have owned Revo Uninstaller then the Pro version and now the newer Pro version.

The free Revo Uninstaller only recognized installed 32 bit programs. 64 bit were not recognized. The Pro version recognizes both 32 bit and 64 bit.

It doesn't need to "monitor/track" the program while being installed to recognize it. Any program that is recognized (and listed) by Windows will also be recognized by Revo Uninstaller Pro.

That's correct - however the original question asked
Does the Pro version of Revo list programs that have been removed through "Programs and Features" ?
    - hence the discusson about the option of using the monitoring feature in Pro.

If you have the Pro version of Revo Uninstaller and want Revo to monitor the install you can right click on the programs .exe file and select Install with Revo Uninstaller Pro.
