    Jarte font manager

I have installed Nexus Font, Jarte's preferred
font manager, but don't recall how to make
    it work with Jarte.

My goal is to have each new file open
    with my preferred font size.

It seems to me that you can only set default font for rich text and plain text documents and certainly not a different font per file.

    Jarte font manager

    Thank you for your response.

    Yes, I'm okay with .rtf.

What I want is when I press Ctrl +N for a new tab to open with my preferred font size to be in effect.

Had it set up this way a few years ago using Nexus
Font, but don't recall how I did it.

Have a work-around in place, but it's a bit clunky.

I used to have Jarte Plus Plus installed but no longer use it.

Anyway surely it's a matter of setting default fonts as shown in the linked article.

Yes. I was already familiar with the linked article.
It makes reference to Nexus Font.

It doesn't detail how to make settings in
the font manager work with Jarte.

Thanks again Callender for your input.

On the off-chance that someone knows
    the answer, I'll restate things.

My goal is to reset my Jarte default
font size to 22, with persistence.

It is possible, but I don't remember how.

The Jarte Help page states that Nexus Font
is the default font manager, but doesn't
detail how to make it work with Jarte.

    I already have a work-around, but would
prefer to have things working properly.

Have seen the following tutorial, but it
doesn't tell me what I need to know.

For the benefit of anyone else with similar
concerns, I'll include my new and improved
    work-around.

Keep the "Always Reopen Last Session" in place.
Thus always have a few tabs open with the preferred font size.

Press the Space Bar a couple times, and highlight
that with a sweep of the mouse pointer.
Hold down the Ctrl key and press the key sequence
    C N V.

This gives a new tab with preferred font size.
