    Windows notepad “find” history


    Hey guys can’t get my hands on this but I’m trying to find a way to clear the find history in notepad. it always shows the last word I searched for. Is their a way to do this?

    Clear data here:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad, searchString

    You can manually delete value data or else use Cccleaner with winapp2.ini

    -winapp2.jpg

    More info:

    Add winapp2.ini to Ccleaner

    Note the warnings.

    (Advanced users only) or run ccleaner analyze only then check results.
