    problems with cortana setting reminder

hello everyone, this is my first question in this forum, I hope to be able to solve my problem. Pretty much since about September 2019 cortana stopped working when I try to set a reminder.

The error returned sound like " I'm sorry, an error has occurred, try again in a little while".
EDIT: The error is preceded by: "I'm sorry in this case I can't help you" that flash for a while.

It worked until about September 2019 then began to give this error. What did I try to do? Of all, I tried the 1809 1903 and 1909 even with clean reinstallation but it does not work.

My actual windows version: Window 10 Home 1909 (build SO 18363.900)

    Please help me!

Welcome to tenforums. Thank you for the translation.. the message given in English Windows is, I think
Cortana says "I'm sorry, something went wrong"

(That's what yields search results should you want to find more).

    Try:
Solution to Cortana "i'm sorry, something went wrong"

(I can set reminders successfully, by the way)

    hello and thank you.

I tried to follow the instructions, although my case is different.
The registry setting didn't work, however. keeps giving me the same error.

I added information on the first page about the error if it can be useful.
EDIT: The error in english sond like "I'm sorry, something went wrong, try again in a little bit"

Are you trying to set reminders by typing, or by speaking?

Do both fail the same way?

That you have found this after a clean installation might suggest failing to access the internet, which seems needed when speaking to Cortana. Do you have a firewall or are you using a VPN or anything else that might interfere?

In what way is your case different to what is described in that article?

By speaking fail with the error.

I Have tested with clean install without any Antivirus. Don't work.

Now I have Mcafee , but I have disabled firewall for test and don't work.

    The internet work well.

Cortana work well for other porpouse, it connect to internet well

Does Cortana recognise your speech otherwise?

Also try creating a new user for test purposes, log in as that user, and then try.

There are some basic checks related to Cortana reminders here:

Cortana seems to understand and does what I ask her.

I had already tried with a new user, but I tried again. It's not working.

I have tried the step in that article: Cortana Reminders not working in Windows 10 [Fixed]

The point 8 is not correct.?

    problems with cortana setting reminder-clipboard.png

    than I have probed :

    Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    i got the same error.

point 9 is not clear enough. There is no key and the other keys are many. Should I make a backup?

points 10 and 11 I've done them many times and they never worked, they last a lot so I don't run them again

    Point 8 - re-register: compare with
Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10

But not likely to be relevant given you have done clean installs.

That the same is seen with a new user says it's not account specific- hardly a surprise.

Are you using local or Microsoft accounts? Suggest you might try the latter.

I'm about 2017 using the same microsoft account.

It worked until September 2019 then stopped working.

In September I had sent my laptop to the parent company ASUS which updated my BIOS and restored the PC to factory conditions.

After a few weeks I tried cortana and it didn't work anymore.

So I tried to downgrade the BIOS and brought it back to the version I had.

But Cortana wasn't working. So I put the last Bios back.

I did other tests but always with local users. It doesn't work with my microsoft account or local accounts.

I also tried on my nephew's PC with his microsoft account and also on his PC give the same error.
His PC is an HP my an ASUS.

I don't know what to do anymore.

There is one difference at least- you are using Italian. Hopefully everything is consistent with that.

What is the base language of your O/S?

And perhaps the problem is related to your location in some manner. If you wished, you could try using English language packs as an experiment. Beyond that I have no suggestions, sorry.
