How about uploading one of your images for testing?
Let me see. OH, I tried Screen Translator again and do get the C++ update, but do not see where you were able to get to SETTINGS. When I click Screen-Translator.exe all I get is a message it is started...can not get to anything and a message that there are no translators in appdata.roaming/gres/screentranslator/assets/translators.
I do not even have that directory.
I'd forget that program. For me it always crashed on capture. I've removed it.
From memory:
You have to install languages, translator, dictionaties and spell checker. Then set each in options.
You have to click on the notification window above system tray to start translator when prompted.
I'd forget it though as it wouldn't work for me. I mean it ran okay but crashed on every capture.
By the way, I've never found scrolling capture to be of much use as I've never found an image viewer that can handle one elongated image and scroll it. So what image viewer do you use that can do the job?
RE: Screen Translator. It's portable so just delete folders. There's no option to uninstall.
Well, what I do is use NIMBUS to get the image from the web site. I do a selected and scroll and then save it as a PNG. Now we want to edit that PNG to remove all of the extra lines in the text. we do not even want the images This will produce a list on half a printed page instead of a 3 page printout.
Also, I was able to start configuring Screen Translator but it is a mess to configure so I think I will just remove the directory. I do not see that it installs anything does it?
