Hi folks
I would suggest to anybody building / developing websites they always test with more than ONE browser whether they use that on their own machine or not -- rendering in one browser might not (often doesn't) look on a screen the same as it does in another browser.
Ideally you should also test your work if poss on more than one OS as well on Windows i.e Linux / Android. You can easily test on a Linux VM.
Things like Wordpress I believe are quite good tools for testing on a local machine before uploading to the site.
If a load of text is on the site --please avoid highly colourful backgounds and test -- the worse offenders are a combination of Yellow / red and above all black backgrounds with a load of small blue text -- I don't have any sort of colorblindness --still regularly checked as I have a Private Pilots License -- and I have trouble with a load of those websites.
If the site is interesting don't worry about the use of mobile phones -- it's the "Twats, Twots, Farcebook" etc users who can't take in more than one sentence at a time !! and fortunately the peak of that type of usage seems to have passed.
People are always interested in things --often really obscure stuff too -- How about "Principles of Hydraulic Fracking" or "The Use of the Gerund in the English Language". --Whatever the subject there will be readers --just make the website decently visible on all popular browsers.
In fact sometimes the digital records on the Internet are the only records that survive --e.g the old Buddha statues that the Taliban / Isis destroyed a few years back --the only images of these now are on the Internet.

elbmek, my chromebook is not hyperlinking your excellent web site, what is the URL?
And, consider using some utility to quarterly "duplicate" your whole web site onto your harddrive, just in case something happens to the server hosting or whatever.
for this from google today:

I think this might have been a bit of java (video), so removed it and fixed a page that had bad visuals.
