    download problems in wetransfer


    I am unable to download zip files from wetransfer through the "all download" button or singularly. However, I can download unzipped files singularly. I had this issue once before and can not remember how I solved it. It was something simple like a setting. I know it tooks days of googling to find and answer and this time no luck on that. So far I have ruled out that it is a Chrome issue (does same thing on Firefox), or a Kaspersky issue or Internet download manager issue. Any help is very appreciated. I should add that I get no error message, the circular arrow icon appears to cycle but nothing downloads.

    Hi.

    Have you tried another OS to see if this machine based or an ISP restriction?

    Might use Kyhi's recovery disk that boots to Windows. You could then use a browser within this OS to test.

    It turned out to be the Chrome app extension for IDM. If I uninstalled it, it still wouldn't not work but if I unchecked it, problem solved. Strange.
