File Association

    File Association


    Please help, I have .fls files needed for work that are now associated as IE, need help fast.

    Yes, I tried to download a fls file but IE associated with it and all the other fls files I have, don't know why. I need to fix this if possible.

    Right click the .fls file/chose Open with/click on More apps ↓/scroll down to Look for another app on this PC/find the proper program and choose it's .exe

    I tried that, the computer gave me choices such as notepad, pdf, word...I just need it to restore them back to .fls files

    Did you scroll down to 'Look for another app on this PC'?

    See my edit above; you need to find the Program that opens .fls files.

    OK, I dont usually open these files I deploy them to mfd's. to update their software. Today for some unknown reason they decided to be IE. I could associate them with flash, however I still can't use them, and I had to create some of them, some I download from the vendors website. And I can only use them as .fls, just thought there could be another way to fix this problem.
