    How To Reinstall Individual App Packages Re: Movies & TV

    I uninstalled some of the built in win 10 app packages and now wish to re-install one of them. Movies & TV.

    https://www.windowscentral.com/how-u...pps-windows-10

    This is the UNINSTALL cmd for Movies & TV.

    Get-AppxPackage *zunevideo* | Remove-AppxPackage

    I am a bit confused regarding the directions of how to install just this one app package back. It says:

    How to restore built-in apps on Windows 10

    1. Type Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers| Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

    I am just not sure sure of the exact command that I need to use in order to re-install the Movies & TV app and frankly where I need to input the exact correct command in the above to re-install Movies & TV. TIA.

    Hello,

    Normally, you could see if resetting an app would fix it.

    Otherwise, you could use Option 2 or 3 below to reinstall an app.

    Thanks for the reply. I am not home now to check but will be tomorrow. I don't think I can reset since the app is no longer visible. Options 2 or three look like winners however and I will give one of them a shot tomorrow. Thanks so much.

    Thanks again. It took me longer then expected to do this but Option 3 was the one that I went with and it worked smooth as butter once I turned off for a few seconds my win update blocking software : )
