Windows Media Player issue

I was having an issue with WMP turning off Network Streaming randomly. After Googling this for a resolution, I came across a post suggesting I go into Services.msc, and to Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service, make sure that it is set to Automatic, and on the Log tab, change the "Log on as" to Local System Account, in place of "This Account" - which was "Network Service" with a password showing as a row of dots.
I made this change, but in didn't fix the issue, so I decided to put it back to it's default state.
However, when I change back to "This Account - Network Service", the password remains as a row of dots, but is invalid!
I have tried my windows logon password, but that is invalid too.
Does anyone have a clue what this password is?

Make sure you have a System backup image and then try to reset the "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" to its default state - download the reg file for restoring just the "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" from the tutorial shown below:

Still seems odd that there would be a password box and no clue as to what the password is!
However, your registry mod changed it back, so thanks once again

To specify "NetworkService Account" as startup for a service, according to this MS doc
Specify an empty string if the account has no password or if the service runs in the LocalService, NetworkService, or LocalSystem account ( you have to specify an empty string as a password ie clear all the dots)

I tried removing the password (dots) to a null string, and you're right again, it worked.
So, it's simple when you know how. Thanks again.
