Since I believe you have indicated that you are not a fan of the program the fix might not apply to you but if you are interested in seeing it and cannot find it on youtube let me know and I can take a look and see I can locate it again.
No i like uTorrent, just not the later version of the client, i have no issue with v2.x :)
but i prefer my current client, rTorrent

Would you care to recommend one and why you believe it is the "worst client."
Maybe that was a bit too harsh, still uTorrent is not the best choice, if you want a free client, since it has too many limitations and ads. There is qBittorent or Deluge for free.

Sorry, when you say "force him to block it" are you referring to the ISP blocking something or the person who uploaded the torrent? Does it matter if I am using a VPN?
Some ISP do not like p2p and they limit it, sometimes even without mentioning it. Also too many connection requests might look like DDoS and they might be blocked automatically by the system. VPN sure helps, so too many connections should pose any problem then, since all the traffic is routed via VPN..

    OK. Thanks for the clarification.

I have tried qBittorent and have found it wanting as far as features go (haven't really looked under the hood; just fired it up) though I do like it's portability requiring no install in addition I do not care for the GUI. Regarding the ads see one of my previous posts indicating that you can remove them. My version 3.xx has no adds and no prompts to upgrade.

Well, that's a good point. I will have to see what if anything happens regarding opening up the connections world wide I believe it was in the coming weeks. Today was only the second day I used the new settings. 4 hours yesterday and 4 hours today.

Aside from the huge amount of ads there is in uTorrent v3.x It performs worse compared to v2.x
I would not recommend any version above uTorrent v2.2.1,
as this version of the client is free from bloatware, riskware, cryptocurrency miner ect.
uTorrent v3.x has also been reported to not report correct stats back to the tracker.

Here is an artical from TorrentFreaks about miners ect inside uTorrent v3.x client.
Here is a old forum topic about the riskware that was installed with uTorrent client v3.x

Can i ask what speeds you get from ur isp ?
by either running a speedtest, or just simply download something from steam.
Also the increase in ur speed could have been temporary due to some of the facts i mentioned in my first post :)
However i am glad ur getting higher speeds :) No one wants to have early 2000 internet speeds ^^
    Fiber for everyone pl0x

    >Can i ask what speeds you get from ur isp ?

speedtest.net. No VPN no torrents downloading but if it makes a difference tested upon boot up and Bitdefender is currently updating and Malewarebytes is running and who know what Windows is downloading and uploading at the moment and I am sure there are other programs pinging who knows what and where.

    Download 128.xx Mpbs/ Upload 9.xx Mpbs

My Task Manager under processes win 10 pro does not show Epic Scale running in processes nor in services. In addition I came across this article drilling down from one of the links above:

Important Update About Epic Scale Partner Offer

Meanwhile, some logistics:As mentioned, Epic Scale has already been permanently suspended on all versions including current μTorrent 3.4.2 and BitTorrent 7.9.2.

Well if you torrent with a active vpn that is going to slow you down. How much depends on what vpn you use.
3 - 5 MBs/s with your connection is below what you should get. Tho it ofc depends on the torrent aswell.
But a fresh torrent with 70~ seeders should give you over 7MB if not more.

    Private Internet Access.

Yeah, as you already by now can tell I am no expert : ) but I am of the opinion DL speed has A LOT to do with the particular torrent. Occasionally now with the new settings I can exceed 5Mpbs. Previously you recommended rTorrent and when I took a look at it I read,"rTorrent is a text-based ncurses BitTorrent client written in C++, based on the libTorrent libraries for Unix." That know how is way above my pay grade. Do you have any other (currently on win 10 pro) clients that you would highly recommend? TIA.

    @phaedruspress

PIA is very good, i've tried them and gotten really good speeds with them, so good choice :)

rTorrent might look like it's hard to configure, and it can be, but once that's done,
it's not harder to use rTorrent then any other torrent client via webgui :)

Qbittorrent is a good client that i use awhile back, i still have it installed.
uTorrent v 2.2.1 build 25154, is rock solid. if you ask me best you can have for windows.
Many like deluge but i don't care for it, coz it only gave me trouble. lol ^^
