Hi all
Just tried to install the new build 1041 but I still have previous version at bottom of qttabbar options.
I first uninstalled previous version ( 1038 ) with the same executable for install ( 1038 ) then install 1041 and it seems I still have the same 1038 build.
I checked in program files folder to delete old junk ( found a folder qttabbar ) and in registry but no way ( I do not have the new icons so I guess 1041 isn't correctly installed)
Is there a right way to get rid of previous version to install 1041 like you ?
Thanks for help
Did you both logoff & then activate QTTabBar. See the install instructions at Install & Uninstall - QTTabBar Manual. When you open File Explorer, did you go to the View tab, then Options scrolldown & activate?
A good way to routinely uninstall programs is to use Revo Uninstaller or Geek Uninstaller- extra scan for leftovers after running normal installer.
Hi:
I would like to double click the desktop (which opens the desktop tool), click on the "recent tabs", pick a tab & open it. I would then like to repeat the process & pick another tab & open it in a new window.
e.g. This is the recent tab list:
I have the Desktop Tool options as follows:
However, even if I uncheck those options, when I try to open the second tab, it replaces the first. Is there a way to make it open a new window, so that I have 2 windows open?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you! Boy, that was easy. I don't know why I didn't try that before...that's how you open new tabs in Chrome, etc.

Thank you for your response. That's a little different because I was wondering about the desktop tool, where you double click on the taskbar or desktop to bring up the items shown in my first post.
I think yours is what you see when you right click a folder in the navigation pane of an open File Explorer window. Is that right?
