That's a great idea & I do have an advanced mouse. However, I assigned the side kick button to File Explorer & use that frequently. However, you gave me an idea. The wheel button was assigned to "Instant viewer", which didn't give me anything I needed. So I just have to decide whether I want the wheel button assigned to Ctrl+Click or Magnify (the advantage of the latter is that I can start & stop the magnify option with 1 click).
if you are still looking to do that,it is working for me by pressing CTRL+ middle button of your mouse, it open the folder you clicked on with this key combo in a new windows, instead to left click on the folder, and choose open in a new Window.
PS: it is working natively like that I think, I did not modd to much settings of QTabBar for it to behave this way...
Well, it's taken awhile, but changing the icons has been very educational. I installed 1041 & changed almost all the icons, so that they now look like this:
At the same time, I found that I could modify or create new QTTabBar icons. Basically, I just used a screen snip of the QTTabBar icon, then opened it in Paint, colored it & saved it as a jpeg. Then I opened it in Irfanview (I think you could use any image editor) & saved it as an .ico file. Other icons, I just searched for & saved everything in a folder that I could point to.
If anyone is interested in having the icons, I would be happy to upload them here.
