Hi, in build 1803 there is a problem for some with setting defaults, seemingly related to one update.
If you now have 1803 that may affect you.
What is your Windows build?
Windows key + r, winver
Please try resetting the association to default for the affected file type(s):
Restore Default File Type Associations in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials
Post a screenshot of the relevant registry data.
Then try changing one to a familiar well-known programs. Document the steps used.
