I don't really know what "Microsoft Edge Cache Database" stands for,...
Have you tried ticking the "Do not show me this message again" option? Because I think, when you tick that, CCleaner will try to close that database each time it cleans the system, and if it can't,...
Maybe it was open? Can you check via the task manager if MicrosoftEdge.exe is present in the processes section?
(It's been a week since that post, but still it can help the others)
Sorry about that, I didn't know that some certain users had the watermark. I have one Windows 10 VM which is not activated (not connected to Internet) and as it didn't get the watermark I thought...
As long as you upgraded from W7/8.1 and you have the generic key there won't be any problems. Even if your Windows is still not activated it won't cause you any problems (you won't see any watermarks...
You should continue running "slmgr /ato" to send more activation attempts to the server
Try pressing F8 to see the Windows Boot options Just after the BIOS logo shows up and choose the one with "Last Known Good Configuration".
Congratulations! Enjoy your Windows 10 Pro! :)
UPDATE: I upgraded Macbook Air to Windows 10, and I encountered all the problems that you did. Unfortunately I couldn't find any solutions for that. For me, the only option is to wait until Apple...
Yes.
Desktop (W7 Pro 64bit) Updated without any major problems (except activation issue -- server problem)
15 minutes after I upgraded to Windows 10, I restarted the PC, I logged in but the start menu...
Sorry for the flood... This message can be deleted
I explained how to make it reappear above... You should close the activation window, then go to Control Panel > System and click Activate Windows one time, and the Activation page will appear with...
Do you have an error code?
The one that you should see in the window that you see the activation error message
With the first method I activated it in approx. 10 minutes.
No, you won't get any watermark whatsoever, as now your computer cannot connect to the activation server.

You are gonna click on activate button continuously. (as fast as possible) You should do that until you see the "Windows is activated" message.
OR, you can open a command prompt and execute "slmgr...
You're gonna click and release continuously even when it's not clickable... I know that does not make sense but apparently it works.
Yes, that's normal.
Yes, the one in the Settings>Update & Security>Activation
Okay.
That's a server-related problem, and there are some solutions for that. I solved that by constatly clicking (or mashing, we can say) "Activate" button AFTER clicking it for the first time.

Hi guys,
I recently tried to update my 2nd computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. I had no problems updating my computer, but I could get MySQL Server to work. I had to restore back to Windows...
Do you get an error code? If you get the code that we got, it means that the server is still problematic.
It's not the key that matters. Each motherboard has a unique ID, and Microsoft determines the activation state by checking that ID.
So, once you upgraded from Windows 8/Windows 10 Insider to...
That won't work because (I assume) you were using Windows 8.1 Home, and you were eligible to update to Windows 10 Home.
Changing the product key to the generic key of Windows 10 Pro won't work, as...
How did you upgrade from W10 home to pro?
