Go on then, admit it. You were wrong.
Why? Spartan doest work. Surely another go (build) would be more interesting for them in terms of feedback than "doesn't work, using Firefox".
What does that mean? Your bullet is made of lead, doesn't fit, but you stuff it in anyway after a bit of mastication?
I think you may blow your hand off (if you don't keep your powder dry).
Just make a backup and upgrade then (if you have the time). It will either work really well or you can restore back. This is what you'll do at RTM time anyway assuming you upgrade.
If you test...
You were possibly thinking about not being able to activate the Hyper-V role on a clean install of 10049 host. This was published as a known issue before 10049 came out.
This was fixed a couple...
I installed Office 2010 and wasn't asked to re-authenticate it. You have 5 installs allowed for 2010 (I think) and after that you only have to call them.
Exactly. VirtualBox will use dynamic memory (depending on your host). So does VMware. So does every hypervisor or else you would never be able to start your machines.
According to @whs...
I'll keep my fingers crossed :)
Not if your host is OSX - then you have to buy VMWare Fusion which is $80.
I'm not against it - it just isn't worth $80 to me over VirtualBox (which is always free and easy to script) or Hyper-V...
That wasn't the question though.
what problems did you have? I prefer vBox to VMware as it is always free. On a windows host I prefer Hyper-V for the dynamic memory allocation.
VMWare is better for running OSX guests but apart...
I had to buy a new phone for my wife this morning for exactly that reason. It is a fairly fundamental requirement for a phone which is overlooked sometimes.
I've been stalking these forums for a while and you seem to be the only person with internet access problems and it has been going on for a long time. I'm sure that you've looked into it more than...
Well yes, certainly in my case. What is it actually FOR? I thought it was only interesting for people who only had free to air TV and a TV tuner - if you had a internet/TV box (so your TV comes...
Robocopy is built into windows 10 (as it was in 8 and 7 and before that for all I know). The GUI you need to get from TechNet (if you don't like command line). It is also faster than copy paste.

I got an update for Office 365 to version v16.0.3823.1010 which I'm running on 10049. I don't know what Office for Windows 10 even is or if it is different.
I'm also beta testing the Mac version...
Ah well, I like to look on the bright side :)
You can download the preview ISO from a non windows PC (and also the ESD's to roll your own but you need to use a Windows PC on VM to convert them to ISO). No idea what will happen with RTM but I...
You can use the robocopy command (it is command line not checkboxes I'll grant you) but it should let you do what you want. If you prefer a GUI front end you can get one from technet
The full version is now free. OneNote is now (even more) free! - Windows 10 Forums
I already upgraded to W10 as my main OS. All your poll choices are future tense whereas I upgraded last October and have no intention of reverting to any earlier version.
Don't want to act dumb but when was FAT32 completely replaced? Considering EFI can only boot (unless you give it some extra drivers) a FAT partition. My phone and camera also still are formatted...
Yes, you are right there unfortunately.
