Well that went much faster then anticipated I have my computer back. They replaced the motherboard. Everything seems to work normally except the battery/charge indicator reversed function.
Once it's done, I'll post back the outcome. Right now it'll probably be a month.
They are sending a box so I can ship the computer to them.

Yes, it was from Dell. Went to their support site, used my service tag, downloaded the "urgent" bios update and followed their instructions.

My computer doesn't support that. Only method 1 supposedly, but I can't find how to use it.

I'll save that for Monday. Anyway one suggestion from Dell was to remove items (HDD, wifi, ram..) would it be ok to remove everything and boot on ac only?
No beep codes. If I put my head next to the speaker I hear a tiny click, but the pattern is never the same. So I doubt there anything.
First one powers on to nothing, second doesn't apply because Dell doesn't appear (like no post at all), and the third I tried from the first member.
I'm thinking the motherboard died..
My warranty expired in 2016, so I might fall into method 1 or 2 (I could look for my receipt).
