Removing items from "Devices and Printers"

    Hi,
On our lan connected desktop's devices and printers section of the control panel has items attached by USB but also things on our network that are wireless. Is there any way to hide or remove some (like the smart TVs) from this while still keeping them on the network?

Control Panel > Devices and Printers right click on item and select Remove Device works for a while, but items seem to return eventually. For media devices, I go to Services and set Media Player Network Sharing Services to manual.

I wonder if smart TVs and the Xbox one are considered media devices? I'll have to look into that.

Yes, they are considered Media Devices. I'm not aware of anyway to hide them or stop them from showing up on a PC, without removing them from the network.
