Well Dell should fix this laptop and should not give you a hard time. This is just my opinion, but I would be calling them tomorrow. Explain what is happening to them again....and that you want this issue fixed ASAP. I would also make sure no personal information is left on your laptop if you have to send it to them. This laptop must have a USB port, either use a mouse you might have around, or just buy a cheap one that uses a usb connection. Might cost 15 to 20 bucks. That way you at least will have a mouse that does work, until you have Dell repair your laptop. Soon as you plug in the mouse, Windows should see it and install a driver for the mouse.
