Are you booting from a Win 10 install disk via 'Repair your computer' and so to a command prompt and then running chkdsk?
Try
chkdsk X: /scan
changing X as necessary for the appropriate letter.
Results should be on screen. Scan only.
Blue Screen "Your Device Ran Into a Problem"

Ah, no.....just from an ordinary Command Prompt.......so boot from an installation USD drive ??

Then it's simple, as I've posted so many times..
From an admin command prompt run
chkdsk c: /scan

Try booting your computer into Safe Mode.
Try Startup Repair tool from recovery environment.
Try to system restore your computer.

Thanks for all the replies.....sorry to have been a pain......I could run the CHKDSK, but it wouldn't let me view the results......This time it has, and has now taken me to the repair disk screen......fingers crossed that the blue screen will now not appear again....we shall see !!.....Thanks again.......

Just an addition.....IF the exercise has solved the problem, it has caused another one.......every time I started W10 it went into "Preparing Windows" mode, and I lost all of the desktop icons.......all sorted now though, using good old System Restore !!......Thanks to all who replied.......Last edited by Del 80; 23 Apr 2023 at 03:44.

It means that it didn't find your profile files and it has created a temporary one.
It may mean that your drive is dying. Backup your data ASAP.
As check disk a log of the results. Please post the last one
