Intermittent black screen/hang while doing random tasks

    This has proven to be a AMD Graphics driver issue. The driver has crashed quite a few times and tried to recover and even sent out crash reports.
    Since then I have uninstalled and re-installed the graphics driver and also updated it. However, the issue continues to hound my setup!
    Not sure what is the way out now...

    Here are some workarounds you might try. Maybe they'll point toward what the bug is related to.

    1. Try different Windows display resolutions. E.g. 1080p (1920x1080) instead of 4K.

    2. Your profile doesn't mention what model of LG 4K monitor you're using. Try disabling the various 4K features in Windows.
    2A. Turn off HDR
    2B. Turn off FreeSync if that is available.
