Upgrading from an HDD to an SSD makes a big difference for most older machines.

How to fill out System Specs for tenforums.

See here: System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums

Fill out as much as you can, look at mine for an example of what can be included. The more information the better.

You may be able to fit a faster CPU (depends on what CPU you currently have)
You may be able to fit more RAM (depends on what RAM you currently have)

As already mentioned fitting a SSD would be a worthwhile improvement (if you are currently using a spinning HDD)

Improvements to CPU & RAM would involve the use of used parts (new parts - if available - would be ludicrously priced)
