Windows 10 takes 20 minutes to load (stuck on spinning circle)

    Hi All :)

My windows 10 PC takes 20 minutes to load (stuck on spinning circle). I went in to Eventviewer, Application and service logs -> windows-> microsoft->Diagnostic performance -> operational and saw the only error criticla is Microsoft Software Protection Platform Service which is causing a 1223275ms second boot time.

Now, windows is activated, legit copy.
I did SFC scan now, checkdisk, DISM, Fixmbr, couldnt do fixboot as access is denied. Any ideas ?
I tried to disable the sppsvc.exe but still same boot time. Any ideas?

    Edit:
I have tried this Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts

And disabled everything non-windows services and still same time to start.

Speccy is attached with windows version :)

Hi, did you know you've included a Windows license key in your uploaded information?

Omitted: required and prompted info- v. important:
Windows 10 takes 20 minutes to load (stuck on spinning circle)-win-10-version.png

My windows 10 PC takes 20 minutes to load
    - clarification- do you mean it takes 20 minutes for a cold boot to lock screen display? If not, please expand.

    History please:

When did your Win 10 Pro last boot more quickly?
With which build of Win 10 was that?
What happened after that that led to the slow boot?

Once you have booted is performance normal?

Just as a basic check please download and run
Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - SSDs too - gives the best instant commentary on each disk I know.

Slow booting has been reported by some in the context of 2004 and 20H2, and with after the installation of the new Edge (Chromium) browser.

Otherwise, boot delays can be analysed (technical!) using the WPA Windows Performance Analyser free from MS.
    Tutorial available.

    Search the forum for
    Windows Performance Analyser
and you will find example threads with screenshots.

I tried to disable the sppsvc.exe but still same boot time.
Causes are more likely to be driver incompatibilty or device enumeration.

    Is your BIOS current?

If you're talking about the Serial Number entry, it's not a license key.

Looks like the computer is joined to a Domain, so is it a work computer?

Also, Speccy is showing you are not connected to the Internet, so the Microsoft Software Protection Platform Service cannot validate your license information on boot.

Hello, thanks for your reply, I have attached WPA. It is stuck on the endless loading circle of Windows 10. I will update bios as per request. I will uninstall edge as well
The boot is per normal as soon as it gets to windows screen, computer runs normally. No Issues.
Problem happens with Restarts, cold, hard boots every single boot.
(safe mode dosent work, it hangs for ages)
My apologies to all, I thought that Speccy gives window version
    Windows Version is : 1909 OS 18363.1198

Have updated bios to the 2nd latest (not the beta)
Have run SSD Sentinal and no bad sectors.
Here are the WPA files run 3 times: https://easyupload.io/29tu4t

    Edit: compacted now

Yes its a work computer, I changed its name, connected it to internet, and then did the verification, I had to disconnect it as I cannot have 2 comps with same name, mucks up our software. But it is fully validated and also, same boot time with the lan cable plugged in.

The traces are not compressed and the download speed is just 2 Mbps => please compress each ETL file and upload again.

Saw the same boot time yesterday with a Linux Mint Desktop, turned out to be caused by a corrupted USB Thumb drive plugged in, removed it and boot was normal then I fixed the drive for further use.

Again, I suspect the Microsoft Software Protection Platform Service cannot validate your license information.

Previously, you weren't connected to the Internet.

Now that you are, it likely can't connect to the Volume Licensing server.
